Dance at San Elijo Dance and Music Academy
San Elijo Dance & Music Academy (SEDMA) was founded in 2001 as San Diego North County's premier dance and music academy. Dance classes are offered for children of all ages and skill levels. Dance classes are available for ballet, hip-hop, jazz, tap, lyrical and pilates. Your child can also join a competition dance team at one of 3 levels of experience.
Small Class Sizes
Class sizes are small for more individualized attention, with talented faculty members who are experts in their fields. Small dance class sizes give your dancer the one-on-one attention they need to feel successful and confident.
Quality Dance Floors
Our dance floors are all built on wooden platforms for spring and protection of little dancer bodies. Our floor coverings are of the highest quality materials used in professional studios: Marley Flooring. No dancers rehearse on concrete floors. Pay attention to this when you are choosing a studio for your little one.
Nurturing Environment
SEDMA is the perfect nurturing, caring and fun environment to teach your little dancer a love for the performing arts, build confidence, develop self control and have fun! At SEDMA there is a dance class available for every age and level of experience, from preschool to high school and beyond.
