Burklyn Ballet Theater

AUDITION GUIDELINES

There is a $25.00 charge for the class (unless other arrangements have been made), payable by check or in cash. Photos, bios and teacher recommendations are not required.

In cities where there are not separate auditions for the Intermediate Program, 9-11 year old dancers should plan to attend the regular audition, which will be simplified for them. These dancers must be 10 before January 1 and 12 after January 1 to attend the Intermediate Program.

Dancers are also chosen for The Edinburgh Connection at these regular auditions. Dancers will be notified of acceptance within two weeks following the audition.

Pittsburgh Ballet Theater

AGE: Program is open to students 12 years of age and up. Applicants must be 12 years of age by program start date.

AUDITION TOUR: An application fee of $25 is due at the time of the audition. Photo required.

PHOTO REQUIREMENTS:

FEMALE: Full body shot in black leotard, pink tights and pointe shoes, posed in first arabesque.

Pacific Northwest Ballet

To audition students must be 12-18 years of age during the 2009 Summer Course. Students should audition in the age group according to their age at the time of audition. Registration with a $25.00 fee begins 1/2 hour prior to audition. Students should wear regular class attire and bring pointe shoes; no photos or resumes. Audition results will be mailed within one month.
